Web tool to help Dominican exporters increase business

The Dominican Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD), the Presidency's Information and Communication Technologies Office (OPTIC) and the company Invest Prix Group & Pixelia presented "the Exporter Portal," a digital tool with updated and timely information for that sector.

CEI-RD director Eddy Martinez and OPTIC director Domingo Tavarez headed the event and stressed the Web site's ( www.dominicanaexporta.gov.do ) importance for the exporter, by helping their companies to compete within the international and the region's markets and obtaining growth.

Tavarez said the Web site is free and exporters could increase business by using it as a tool for e-learning, international e-commerce and to access information, among other features.
