International Cooperation
What is the meaning of International Cooperation?
It is the array of concessions, aids and resources that
a nation receives from other organizations or friendly
countries, as a complement to the national endeavor for
development. It is an agent of means for economic and
social development and international insertion and entailment.
It contributes to the sustenance of social peace and
human rights preservation.
General mission
The Technical Undersecretariat of the Presidency for
the International Cooperation of non-reimbursable funding
has as medium term goal, to become the Governmental
International Cooperation Agency.
Specific Goals

International Cooperation policies
The international cooperation policies within the Government’s
new vision must be coherent with the plans, programs
and projects being promoted by the Government, on the
basis of the country’s development strategy and
priorities, and in accordance with a foreign policy oriented
toward the strengthening of the Dominican presence on
the international stage.
Types of Cooperation

Financial Cooperation: Reimbursable
or non-reimbursable. |

Technical Cooperation: Human Resources Promotion,
training, advisory missions, technological transference. |

Nourishing aid or any other kind. |
•
|
Multilateral: arising from international organizations
such as the World Bank, the European Union, I.A.D.B. |
•
|
Bilateral: arising from one country to another.
It can be Bilateral Governmental or Non-Governmental,
depending on whether or not the recipient for funding
is the state. |

In the OSCP we shall give pursuance to governmental
aids. |
